When I saw the original set of Dynasty Warriors Chibis at the Tokyo Game Show, I freaked out and knew they must be mine. That was in October of last year, and despite my very strong and blatant hints, Koei still hasn’t gotten the message and sent me any. Now they’re old news, because Volume 2 has just been unveiled.
The new set includes Sima Yi, Xiahou Dun, Cao Pi, Lu Xun, Gan Ning, Sun Ce, Zhao Yun, Zhuge Liang, Ma Chao, Yu Ying, Diao Chan and Dong Zhuo. That list of names will serve only to alienate and confuse most of you. Dong Zhuo may make the fourteen-year-olds laugh a bit. The particularly retarded ones.
This time, there will be no subtlety. I’ll just go to the Koei booth at E3, punch someone in the face, and tell them to give me everything they have.
